Kind of a pain, but I was able to beat Hard, along with all the unlockable songs, and get about 2/3 through Expert by doing it this way. I have to count in my head the number of times I've hit a certain chord because it doesn't sync up correctly. I also tried enabling 'Game Mode' on the TV, which is supposed to reduce lag by about 30%, but it didn't make enough of a difference to be of any real use, so I turned it back off.Īnd, you know, I'm able to play it, sort of, with the low offset. I've also set the Xbox 360 to output in 720p, as that should help some, as I understand it.

I've got HDMI into the TV for visuals and optical to my receiver for audio. So how you have the sound set up is probably playing just as much of not a larger factor overall.
